Where are they now? Missouri basketball announced Thursday that it has officially signed West Virginia guard Jayden Stone, and with that the Tigers’ transfer portal business is wrapped up. The Tigers still have one open roster spot, but if they are going to fill that position then the likeliest avenue is now via an overseas commitment. Per a report Thursday from The Athletic, Mizzou has
shown interest in Serbian guard Ognjen Stankovic. For now, however, Mizzou’s roster appears to be set, and with the 2025 transfer portal cycle now mostly in the rearview mirror, we decided to take a look at where some recent former Tigers are now plying their trade.
Where did 2025 Missouri basketball transfers land?
Aidan Shaw, Boston College: The Overland Park, Kansas, native and former four-star prospect will spend his senior season in the ACC with Boston College. This appeared to be a mutually beneficial move for both parties. Shaw seemed unlikely to start with MU this upcoming season, and he can spend his final year of eligibility competing for a significant role.
Peyton Marshall, Georgia Tech: The 7-foot center heads back to his hometown, Atlanta, after one season in Columbia. Marshall struggled to forge a consistent role as a rookie behind Josh Gray, and the commitment of center Shawn Phillips Jr. from
Arizona State likely obscured his path to reps again.
Marcus Allen, Miami: Perhaps the most surprising loss of Mizzou’s offseason, Allen reunites with outgoing MU assistant coach Charlton ‘C.Y.’ Young at the U. The wing was an exciting player who developed the quickest among MU’s freshmen, and he’ll likely earn significant playing time as a sophomore on first-year head coach Jai Lucas’ first ’Canes squad. Interestingly, all three players who transferred out of MU this offseason have landed in the ACC. That opens up the opportunity for Mizzou to face one of its former players in an ACC/SEC Challenge matchup, which is likely to be played in December.
Where 2024 transfers are now playing
Kaleb Brown, Robert Morris: After one season at Cal State Fullerton, Brown — the younger brother of program standout and current LA Clipper Kobe Brown — is on the move again and has transferred to Robert Morris. Kaleb Brown averaged 6.6 points and 3.9 rebounds per game last season.
Curt Lewis, uncommitted: Lewis reentered the transfer portal after a season at East Tennessee State. He appeared in eight games in Johnson City, Tennessee, before sustaining a groin injury. He is likely eligible for another season due to the NCAA waiver for former JUCO players.
Jordan Butler, South Carolina: Butler is still with the Gamecocks, close to his hometown of Greenville, South Carolina. He averaged 1.8 points and 0.9 rebounds last year.
Which other former Mizzou players are still in college?
Trevon Brazile, Arkansas: Missouri will face Brazile and the Razorbacks again in the 2025-26 season. Brazile opted not to enter the NBA Draft.
Anton Brookshire, Austin Peay : The Springfield native will spend his final season running the point at Austin Peay. He averaged 8.5 points and 2.6 assists per game last season for the Governors.
Yaya Keita, Albany: The center spent the past few seasons at Oklahoma but transferred to Albany this past offseason.
Which recent Mizzou players are playing professionally?
To keep this story concise, this section is focused on former Tigers who are not currently in the NBA, where Michael Porter Jr. (Denver), Kobe Brown (Clippers), Jordan Clarkson (Utah) and Dru Smith (Miami) currently play.

Dallas Mavericks — traded for the returning player rights to Hodge, meaning he could return to the U.S.
Sean East II, 2022-24: East is playing for the Edmonton Stingers in the Canadian Elite Basketball League. He leads the league in scoring through two games, averaging 24 points per outing in the early stages of the season, and also has averaged 6.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists per contest.
Noah Carter, 2022-24: Carter was named the individual MVP of the Kooperativa National Basketball League, based in Czechia, this season, averaging 18.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game for BK Olomoucko.

Nick Honor, 2022-24: Honor most recently played in Cyprus for Apollon BC Limassol, where the website Eurobasket said he played in eight games.
Jesus Carralero Martin, 2023-24: After finishing his college career with Bethune-Cookman, Martin has signed with Spanish professional outfit Gipuzkoa Basket. He averaged 6.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game in the SWAC.
