Julia Pike was 2 for 2 with a home run, four RBI and three runs scored to lead Kennebunk to a 12-6 win over Biddeford in a Class A South softball game Friday. Maggie Canniff, Melody Rousselle and Katherine Orendorf all drove in two runs for Kennebunk (7-2), which broke open a tight game by scoring five runs in the bottom of the sixth. Gabby Smith homered and had two RBI for Biddeford (5-3). Jaylah Trottier, Corinne Ramunno and Madi Roy, Smith got two hits apiece. WINDHAM 12, THORNTON ACADEMY 1: Kennedy Kimball and Chloe Edwards both homered, and the Eagles (6-1) beat the Golden Trojans in a game shortened to five innings by the mercy rule in Windham. Edwards had four RBI, and Kimball drove in three runs with two hits. Stella Jarvais belted a double and Addie Caiazzo ripped a triple. Emma Barnes, Tess Frager and Allison Marines each singled for Thornton. LAKE REGION 11, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 1: Vylet Robbins went 4 for 4 and Ava Cole drove in three runs as the Lakers (6-3) earned a six-inning victory over the Patriots (3-8) in Naples. Abbi Nadeau chipped in with two hits, two RBI and two runs. Madalyn Patrick got two of Gray-New Gloucester’s four hits. YORK 17, POLAND 6: Maddie Fitzgerald hit a grand slam, and Piper Catanese belted two home runs and drove in three runs to lift the Wildcats (10-0) over the Knights (2-7) in a game shortened to five innings in York. Nya Avery added three hits and three RBI, Lindsay Rivers had two hits and three RBI, and Bella Santini chipped in with two hits. Brenna Galipeau-Eldridge had two hits for Poland. GORHAM 13, MARSHWOOD 3: Sawyer VonderHaar ripped two home runs and drove in three runs as the Rams (9-1) rolled to a win over the Hawks (3-5) in Gorham. Bella McBrady, the winning pitcher, added a two-run double and a triple. Laurali Shisler and Dot Ryan each had two hits for Marshwood. MASSABESIC 16, FALMOUTH 1: The Mustangs (4-4) scored 15 runs in the first inning to post a three-inning mercy-rule victory over the Navigators (0-7) in Waterboro. Emelia Theriault, Natalie Darling and Ella Gerrish each had two hits and two RBI. Gerrish scored three runs. Katherine Piveronas hit an RBI double for Falmouth. WESTBROOK 15, NOBLE 0: Elyse Broad was 4 for 4 with three runs scored, Emma Boulette drove in three runs with three hits, and the Blue Blazes (5-3) beat the Knights (2-7) in a four-inning game in Westbrook. Avery Childs also had three hits, including a double, and Ava Anderson hit a double and a triple. Childs, Greta Krantz, Hannah Christensen and winning pitcher Madison Ross all drove in two runs. OLD ORCHARD BEACH 12, RICHMOND 10: The Seagulls (2-5) took advantage of 17 walks as they scored in every inning, including three runs in the seventh for a comeback win over the Bobcats (3-6) in Richmond. Hannah Webber was 3 for 4, Sammi Darling hit a two-run double, and Emelia Michaud had two hits and three runs scored for OOB. Kaelyn Brillant and Brooke Fournier each had three hits and Charlotte Crawson drove in three runs for Richmond. ST. DOMINIC 15, SACOPEE VALLEY 1: Emily Andrews doubled among her three hits, scored three runs and combined with her sister, Maddie, on a two-hitter as the Saints (5-3) defeated the Hawks (0-8) in six innings in Hiram. Maddie Andrews started on the mound and pitched three hitless innings. She also had two hits and two RBI. Emily Andrews allowed two hits and no runs in three innings of relief. Chloe Croteau contributed two hits, three RBI and scored three runs, while Piper Croteau had two hits, two runs and three RBI. Bridget Landry and Emily Reynolds got Sacopee Valley’s hits. BIDDEFORD 5, BONNY EAGLE 0: Ernie Dore pitched a four-hitter and Gavin Haggett slugged a three-run homer, leading the Tigers (8-1) past the Scots (3-6) in Biddeford. Landon Sirois got two hits and scored twice. Travis Edgerton recorded a single and a double. Dore struck out four and walked one. LAKE REGION 8, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3: Brock Gibbons struck out 12 and allowed just one hit and one walk over six scoreless innings as the Lakers (6-2) defeated the Patriots (6-5) in Naples. Shane Plummer paced the offense with three RBI. Plummer, Dylan Blair and Braydan Wilson all had two hits. SACOPEE VALLEY 5, ST. DOMINIC 3: Silas Nelson gave up three runs (two earned) on three hits, struck out five and walked two as the Hawks (5-3) beat the Saints (2-6) in Hiram. Curtis Wheeler had two hits for St. Dom’s. GORHAM 10, CHEVERUS 2: Wyatt Washburn pitched a four-hitter and scored three runs, leading the Rams (7-1) past the Stags (2-7) in Portland. Washburn struck out eight and walked one. He also got one of Gorham’s five doubles and the only player for either team with two hits. Matt Baker of Cheverus hit a two-run single in the first inning. GORHAM 17, NOBLE 6: Piper Forgues led a balanced attack with three goals as the Rams (6-1) cruised past the Knights (2-7) in Gorham. Kennady Peary, Logan Doughty, Londyn Wright, Kat LaPierre and Haylie Nicely all contributed two goals. Noble got three goals from Ashley Merchant, two from Emerson Myers-Thiverge and one from Aria Littlefield. WELLS 7, WAYNFLETE 5: Caitlin Rooney scored three goals as the Warriors (6-2) beat the Flyers (5-2) in Wells. Kendall Maxon added two goals, and Gracie Seguin and Eva Talevi also scored for Wells. Ellie Moore recorded three assists and Payton Maxon had two. Lydia Birknes and Lucy Mamone both netted two goals for Waynflete. Casey Curtis scored once. MORSE 20, EDWARD LITTLE 3: Zoe Avery and Zoe Nicholson each scored three goals, pacing a balanced offense for the Shipbuilders (5-3) against the Red Eddies (1-7) in Auburn. Olive Beeton, Jolee Burchette, Sophie Prager, Riley Walters and Micah Wolf chipped in with two goals apiece. Edward Little got two goals from Izzy Hayes and one from Lily Frahm. GREELY 7, YARMOUTH 6: Kylie Lord scored three goals as the Rangers (4-4) held off the Clippers (3-6) in Yarmouth. Greely also got two goals from Jane Flynn and one each from Kacie Lord and Hadley Hatch. Kiki Tompkins and Vivienne Corriveau each netted two goals for Yarmouth. Celia Zinman had a goal and two assists, and Keira Cowans also scored. SOUTH PORTLAND 12, YORK 7: Beckett Mehlhorn scored six goals to lead the Red Riots (7-2) past the Wildcats (6-2) in South Portland. Mehlhorn, Ian House (four goals) and Tadhg O’Connell (two goals, one assist) accounted for all 12 South Portland goals. Carmine Soucy had two assists, and Danny Fitzgibbon made five saves. Mason Walenta scored twice for York. WINDHAM 12, LEWISTON 3: Luke Drottar recorded four goals as the Eagles (5-4) beat the Blue Devils (4-4) in Windham. Colin McKenna, Sean LeBel and Lukas Hammond added two goals apiece. Collin Michaud, Jackson Bement and Tegan Dugal scored for Lewiston.
