The future is now. Krispy Kreme melds coffee and donuts into two treats that will blow your mind.

Krispy Kreme, you beautiful bakery, you.

Just when you didn’t think the chain could get any better, it takes donuts and coffee to a new level. In honor of National Coffee Day, which is on Saturday, Sept. 29, Krispy Kreme will “brew donut and glaze coffee,” which basically boils down to the release of a coffee-glazed donut and a new drink called the Original Glazed Coffee.

"Our coffee is going donuts, and our donuts are going coffee! It is a delicious, innovative approach to our iconic products," Alison Holder, vice president of U.S. marketing for Krispy Kreme, said in a press release.

The nectar-of-the-gods (otherwise known as coffee)-glazed donuts will only be available from Sept. 24 to Sept. 30, so make sure you stop by the nearest Krispy Kreme to give it a whirl. Why not stop by on National Coffee Day itself, Sept. 29, when the chain will also be giving out a free cup of joe, with or without an order.

If you happen to be a rewards member, you will also get a free donut on that day. You can cash in on this sweet deal by signing up for the program, as well.

The Original Glazed Coffee drink, which is reminiscent of a donut in a cup, is actually joining the Krispy Kreme menu permanently. Now, you can enjoy that match made in heaven any time you need an extra tasty jolt of caffeine and sugar.

Are you a donut-in-your coffee dunker? Or are you all about the old school milk and donuts? What do you think of Krispy Kreme’s new flavors? Let us know in the comments below.
