A former Clemson star has found his next home in the NFL. DeAndre Hopkins has reportedly agreed to a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, it’s a $5 million deal that could increase to $6 million. After being traded to the Kansas City Chiefs from the Tennessee Titans this past October, Hopkins tallied 41 receptions for 437 yards and four touchdowns across 10 regular season games with the Chiefs before adding three catches for 29 yards and a touchdown over three postseason games. Playing in his first Super Bowl after 12 NFL seasons, Hopkins scored a touchdown with 2:54 left in the fourth quarter when he hauled in a 7-yard pass from Patrick Mahomes in Super Bowl LIX against the Philadelphia Eagles on Feb. 9. With that score, Hopkins joined William Perry (one rushing touchdown in Super Bowl XX) and Tee Higgins (two receiving touchdowns in Super Bowl LVI) to become the third Clemson product to score a touchdown in a Super Bowl. The five-time All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowler has amassed 984 receptions for 12,965 yards and 83 touchdowns during his Hall of Fame-caliber career with the Houston Texans, Arizona Cardinals, Titans and Chiefs after being selected by Houston in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
