Memorial Day is still a few days away but another unofficial start of summer is here: Starbucks has released its summer menu Tuesday, May 20.

The release comes at a time when the chain is battling employee walkouts at about 100 stores over its new dress code for its baristas .

The new dress code — which took effect May 12 — limits baristas to a black top, while their bottoms are required to be black, khaki or blue denim. Starbucks said it would provide employees with two free black T-shirts.

Other recent changes at Starbucks included the removal of 13 “less popular” drinks from its menu in March bringing back free refills and a condiment bar for its dine-in customers.

Starbucks is introducing an iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso.

The iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso is a "light, smooth and subtly sweet profile that pairs perfectly with oat milk and the horchata flavored syrup — which is a fusion of warm cinnamon, sweet vanilla and subtle nutty notes reminiscent of the rice milk that makes up a traditional horchata."

The new Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso is available throughout the summer while supplies last, Starbucks said.

Summer-Berry Starbucks Refreshers back again

The new drink will join a "returning fan favorite," Summer-Berry Starbucks Refreshers.

The drinks were first introduced in 2024 and feature a "sweet and summery blend of raspberry, blueberry and blackberry flavors shaken with ice and water, poured over raspberry flavored pearls."

The Summer-Berry Refreshers can be ordered with lemonade in the Summer-Berry Lemonade Refresheror with creamy coconut milk in the Summer Skies Drink.

The Summer-Berry Refreshers also are available for a limited time, while supplies last this summer.

New on Starbucks menu is Strawberries & Cream Cake Pop

New to the Starbucks summer menu in 2025 is the Strawberries & Cream Cake Pop.

It features strawberry cream cake mixed with buttercream, dipped in a chocolate icing and finished with a summer strawberry design.

The cake pop will be available for a limited time, while supplies last.

Summer drinkware now available at Starbucks
