Oh, bother! You’ll definitely want to try Starbucks' newest secret-menu drink, the 'Winnie the Pooh' Frappuccino.

Has the coronavirus pandemic got you feeling like a little black rain cloud, hovering under the honey trees? Or do you simply feel something rumbly in your tumbly? Either way, you’ll definitely want to head to Starbucks for this drink that’s sure to transport you into the Hundred Acre Woods.

Starbucks' secret-menu drinks have been extremely popular over the last couple of months, so you probably already know what they are. They’re not actually items on the Starbucks menu, but rather drinks that coffee lovers have created using some of the ingredients Starbucks has on hand.

However, what’s different about this secret-menu drink is that it was actually made by a Starbucks employee. Starbucks barista Ryan Gawlik said that a customer came into his Starbucks and asked if there was a Winnie the Pooh drink. After scouring the internet, he found no evidence of any such drink and, therefore, decided to come up with a recipe on his own.

He took to Tiktok and posted a video of his special recipe, complete with instructions on what to put inside the drink. Gawlik even decorated his beautiful creation with a drawing of Pooh’s cute little face and added a mini strawberry Frappuccino, because you can’t have a Pooh Bear without a Piglet.

How to Order the Winnie the Pooh Frappuccino

The Winnie the Pooh Frappuccino is essentially a Vanilla Bean Crème Frappuccino with honey, or “hunny” as Pooh likes to spell it. To order, you’ll first ask your barista for a Vanilla Bean Crème Frappuccino and then ask to add honey, cinnamon dolce, cinnamon powder, and caramel drizzle blended into the drink. At the end of it all, you’ll have a white drink with golden drizzle, just like one of Pooh’s coveted honey pots. According to Gawlik, the drink tastes exactly like a graham cracker, which would definitely make Pooh proud.

Think, Think, Think Like Pooh to Order the Drink

Pooh is known to sit and think before he goes out to get his honey, and you should too. Since the Winnie the Pooh Frappuccino is not on the actual menu, not every barista is going to know the exact recipe. Therefore, you should bring in a copy of the recipe for them or pull up Gawlik’s video on your phone. Remember a quote by Pooh’s friend Eeyore – “A little consideration, a little thought for others, makes all the difference.”

Starbucks has also switched to delivery and drive-through only for the duration of the coronavirus pandemic. However, you should still be able to show your barista your phone so that he or she can see the recipe. You can also order all of the extra items for the Winnie the Pooh Frappuccino online or in the Starbucks app, and even order a toasted honey topping for even more of Pooh’s favorite food.

Pooh is known to say that “sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart”. It’s the little things in life that keep us going, and this Winnie the Pooh secret menu Frappuccino is sure to do just that.

Let us know if you were able to try the drink and share your thoughts on the taste!
