The Toronto Maple Leafs and Carolina Hurricanes are set to take the ice for the first time since the NHL All-Star Break with a Saturday night puck drop in Toronto. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. ET with TV coverage on NHL Network and streaming on-demand .

These two sides meet for the second time this season, this time shifting North after the Hurricanes took the first matchup in Carolina (6-3) on Jan. 9. That loss snapped a run of five straight wins that triggered a three-game losing streak and an up-and-down finish to the first half of the season. Toronto opens play after the break sitting two points back of the Florida Panthers in the race to win the Eastern Conference’s Atlantic Division.

While the Hurricanes have been borderline-unbeatable at home with a 21-6-2 record, they go into the weekend on the wrong side of .500 (12-13-3) in road games this season. Carolina salvaged a 7-3 win over Utah before the All-Star Break to snap a three-game losing streak and close the first half with a 6-3-1 mark over its final 10 games.
