MINNEAPOLIS, MN - APRIL 03: Edouard Julien #47 of the Minnesota Twins greets teammates during player introductions prior to the game between the Houston Astros and the Minnesota Twins at Target Field on Thursday, April 3, 2025 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The first week of the MLB season brought us extra-inning thrillers, walk-off wins, and torpedo bats. So what does the next week of the MLB TV schedule have in store?

The forthcoming MLB games this week feature several marquee matchups, including home openers and divisional showdowns. It's time to learn where to watch MLB games from April 3–10, 2025 — and how to stream MLB games live or on-demand.

On Friday, April 4, Juan Soto officially becomes the newest king of Queens as he makes his Citi Field debut for the New York Mets (3:10 p.m. ET). That same day, the Chicago Cubs will host their home opener at Wrigley against the San Diego Padres , who are off to the best start in franchise history (2:20 p.m. ET). A series featuring two of the game's best shortstops, Gunnar Henderson and Bobby Witt Jr., also begins on the fourth when the Baltimore Orioles visit the Kansas City Royals at 7:40 p.m. ET. Friday Night Baseball on Apple TV+ showcases the Los Angeles Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies in a battle of National League powerhouses (6:45 p.m. ET).

Japanese sensation Roki Sasaki vies for his first major league win on Saturday, April 5, when the Dodgers continue their series against the Phillies. That game will be broadcast at 4:05 p.m. ET on FS1. Appearing on FS1 that night at 7:10 p.m. ET are two NL Central rivals, the Cincinnati Reds and Milwaukee Brewers . On April 6, ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball will show the series finale between the St. Louis Cardinals and Boston Red Sox , a pair of venerable franchises that have met in the World Series on four occasions (7:10 p.m. ET).

The Houston Astros and Seattle Mariners reignite their division rivalry on Monday, April 7, when they begin a series in Seattle (9:40 p.m. ET). Last season, the Astros overcame a 10-game deficit in the AL West standings to win the division for the fourth straight year. Another pair of division rivals, the Phillies and Atlanta Braves , meet for the first time on Tuesday, April 8 in Atlanta at 7:15 p.m. ET. Local fans can catch the game on FanDuel Sports Network South and NBC Sports Philadelphia , while out-of-market fans can watch it on TBS. The Phillies won the NL East last season to snap Atlanta's run of six straight division crowns.

The Toronto Blue Jays won five of their first seven games thanks to hot starts from infielders Bo Bichette and Andrés Giménez. Toronto will visit Fenway Park for a four-game series against the Red Sox beginning on Monday, April 7. The Minnesota Twins and Royals will also play a four-game series from the seventh through the tenth. Minnesota won last year's season series vs. Kansas City seven to six.

How to Watch MLB Games This Week (April 3-10) from anywhere with a VPN

Whether you're on the road, living out of market, or stuck in a region with blackout restrictions, a VPN can be your secret weapon for catching all the action when it comes to MLB games. By changing your virtual location, a VPN lets you stream live games as if you're watching from anywhere in the country — even if you're not.

Popular services like ExpressVPN (from $8.32/month) are known for fast, reliable connections and a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're looking for a more budget-friendly option, Private Internet Access starts at just $2/month. NordVPN is another great pick — and it's currently 72% off. No matter which team you're rooting for, a VPN helps make sure you don't miss a single pitch, no matter where you're watching from.
