The 18-hour closure begins at 9 p.m. for emergency bridge repairs.

If you're traveling on I-25 this weekend, plan and leave early. I-25 is closing for 18 hours in Lone Tree, beginning Friday, June 4 for emergency bridge repairs. The bridge repairs are necessary following a February crash involving a commercial truck. Delays are expected throughout the weekend, including an 18-hour full closure of I-25. If you're heading out this weekend, here's a list of the scheduled closures:

  • Friday, June 4 to Saturday, June 5 (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.): Full closure of I-25 north; double-lane closure on I-25 south from Ridgegate Parkway to Lincoln Avenue.
  • Saturday, June 5 (5 a.m. to 7 p.m).: Single left lane closure of I-25 north
  • Saturday, June 5, to Sunday, June 6 (7 p.m. to 1 p.m.): Full closure of I-25 north and double lane closure on I-25 south from Ridgegate Parkway to Lincoln Avenue
  • Scheduled overnights from Sunday, June 6, to Saturday, June 12 (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.): Same as above
  • Scheduled overnights Tuesday, June 15, and Thursday, June 24 (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.): Full closure of  I-25 north, all lanes open on I-25 south
