Texas A&M baseball entered the weekend as heavy favorites against Missouri, a team that had yet to win a conference game in the SEC this season. However, the Aggies suffered a shocking series sweep, falling to the Tigers in three straight games.

Not only did Texas A&M lose the series, but they were swept by a team with the worst ERA in the SEC. The Aggies' offense struggled significantly, producing one of their worst hitting performances in months.

Head coach Michael Earley addressed the team's struggles after the loss, acknowledging the lack of offensive rhythm. He emphasized that the Aggies were chasing too many pitches, disrupting their ability to generate scoring opportunities.

"When we struck the ball, we didn't strike it well enough, and we didn't have any hits. I think we had two hits, and one of them was a home run. So yeah, they threw strikes, and we didn't do anything with it."

Texas A&M’s Senior Day was meant to be a celebration, but after a tough series loss to Missouri, it was bittersweet. Coach Michael Earley acknowledged the disappointment, especially given how hard the team fought to get back into postseason contention. They’ve battled through adversity and never backed down, and that determination isn’t fading now.

"I feel terrible for these guys, man. They put everything into this, and it's tough. It's tough, and I feel awful for them, but we're going to rebound. We're going to regroup and we're going to finish this thing strong, however it may be, but we're not going to quit."

Below is the full press conference after Game 3 of the Missouri series.
