Sing together: "I scream. You scream. We ALL scream for ice cream!"

I found actual lyrics to this rhyme that were longer than I ever dreamed. Though the point is this quaint treat shop is aptly named, I Scream Ice Cream. I Scream Ice Cream opened in October 2020 and provides southwest Loveland with unique and classic ice cream flavors.

As you'd expect, you can select hand-dipped ice cream in a dish or a waffle cone with the option of added sprinkles and toppings. My husband and I visited the cozy ice cream shop this past weekend. The staff was super-friendly, and the ice cream was packed with favor. Even on a chilly night, we enjoyed sitting outside underneath the stringed lights.

Here are just a few of the current flavors: 

• Exhausted Parent: Bourbon-spiked espresso ice cream swirled with bittersweet chocolate chunks
• Heaps of Love: Anything and everything you can want! Oreos, brownies, cookie dough, pecans, caramel, and chocolate ripples all packed into vanilla ice cream
• Munchie Madness: Sweet cake batter ice cream swirled with a salted caramel ripple and brimming with Oreos, M&M pieces, and peanut butter cups
• Strawberry Cheesecake: Cheesecake ice cream swirled with a strawberry ripple and loads of gooey cheesecake pieces

Is your mouth watering yet? Satisfy your ice cream cravings at I Scream Ice Cream, 4221 W. Eisenhower Blvd., Monday to Thursday (1p.m.  to 8 p.m.) and Friday to Sunday (1 p.m. to 9 p.m.).

I Scream Ice Cream is a locally owned franchise of the Chocolate Ice Cream Shoppe. The owners of I Scream Ice Cream also own Primary Event Rentals. The two businesses share the space formerly occupied by Esh's Grocery Market.
