CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) -- Since losing two key players for the season Illinois women's hoops had two resume building wins against Iowa and Indiana. The Illini have done a good job of erasing past trends, the other night they got their first win in Bloomington since 2012. And its the first time they've beaten Indiana and Iowa in the same season since 2012-13. And that's a good omen for Sunday's game when they welcome Michigan State to town. The Illini have lost 11 of their last 12 to Sparty, another trend they're trying to erase. Head Coach Shauna Green said last years game against Sparty was one of the worst of the season so expect them to play a much better game tomorrow when they tip things off at 2 p.m.
