Get ready, y'all! In-N-Out is coming!!

If you have spent any time in California, you probably have driven by a packed In-N-Out Burger restaurant. The popular fast-food restaurant boasts fresh-cut fries, fresh, never-frozen ground beef patties, and real ice cream shakes. The first one popped up in Baldwin Park, California, in 1948, and the chain now has more than 350 locations in seven states.

The closest In-N-Out has come to the east coast to date is Colorado, but that’s about to change. The company announced this week it would be opening its first east coast area location in Nashville, Tennessee.

In addition to the Nashville store, In-N-Out will build an eastern territory office in Franklin. The company has not explicitly said it would expand to other east coast states, but establishing a regional office gives In-N-Out lovers in the east hope.

The Nashville location is scheduled to open by 2026.

The menu is limited, but regulars know tricks to get special items not listed on the menu. Some of those "not-so secret" hacks include the grilled cheese, a protein-style burger with lettuce instead of a bun, and "animal style," a burger with extra sauce, pickles, and grilled onions.
