As of July 2, you can jet off to the City of Light right from Denver.
Travel from Colorado to Europe isn't always easy, but Air France has made travel to Paris a breeze. The French airline recently announced a new nonstop flight from Denver International Airport to Charles de Gaulle Airport.
The 9-hour and 20-minute flight will cut travel time significantly for those looking to head overseas to Paris, and beyond. The route is scheduled to run three days a week until October 29, depending on demand, following a year-and-a-half of COVID-related travel restrictions.
On Friday, July 2, a ribbon-cutting commemorated the milestone event, which added a new U.S. gateway to Air France's list of nonstop routes.
Fully vaccinated American travelers are welcome to enter the European Union without a two-week quarantine or presenting a negative COVID-19 test. Unvaccinated Americans will still need to show a negative test within 72 hours of departure.
The Denver International Airport also has nonstop flights to Charles de Gaulle operated by Delta. Still, the new Air France trip adds more times and options for travelers looking for a shorter travel time. Denver is Air France's 12th U.S. destination, where travelers can book a nonstop flight.
