It was the Dolphins (5-6) best first half since … what, Denver last year? They didn’t just beat a bad New England team,
but did so in a manner that means they’re starting a tougher stretch with everything working . The final games have been problems the past couple of years. Did the Dolphins get that out of their system earlier this season?
Chris Perkins, Dolphins Columnist
We’re on the Green Bay . The Dolphins gave a strong performance against New England, taking care of business early and coasting the rest of the way. They’ve now won three in a row
and are playing good football, arguably their best of the Mike McDaniel era . Win Thursday, and it’s a new season.

The
Dolphins did what they were supposed to do against the Patriots and offered a glimpse of what it could look like when everything is clicking . They go into Thanksgiving night at Green Bay hot on a three-game winning streak, and there’s still a lot to fight for this season.

Indeed, it was the 3-9 Patriots, but how could one not be entertained and majorly impressed by the dominant play by the Dolphins’ trench gladiators? It was near perfection, led by one of the greatest defensive performances I can recall by a Dolphins rookie as Chop Robinson terrorized Drake Maye all game long. Now? In the chill of Green Bay on Thanksgiving night. … This is when we will start truly finding out if Miami has any shot at the playoffs. If they come back from Wisconsin at .500, that answer will be emphatically yes.

OK. Well done. The Dolphins sharply handled business against the two NFL have-nots to make Thanksgiving at Lambeau Field so important. Now it gets exciting as the chill of the holiday season looms.
