The Albuquerque Isotopes secured a 5-2 victory against the Salt Lake Bees for the fourth game of the series on Friday, May 2. The Bees were in the driver's seat at the start of the game, leading the series 2-1 after defeating the Isotopes 8-3 in the third game of the series the day before. The Bees came into this game looking to extend their series lead, but a rally in the eighth inning by the Isotopes halted any plans of that. The rally was all the Isotopes needed as they closed out the game in the top of the ninth, bringing home the win and tying the series up at 2-2. There were no runs scored by either team until the top of the second, when the Bees scored their first run after a walk with the bases loaded. The Isotopes were able to respond and tie the game up in the third inning when they were able to hit in a run. The two teams remained tied at one apiece until the sixth inning, when the Bees were able to get a runner home. Neither team was able to score a run in the seventh inning, and the Bees went scoreless in the eighth inning. Down 2-1 going into the bottom of the eighth, the Isotopes were looking for a late rally, a rally they would achieve as they hit in four runs. Those runs were due to Austin Nola and Julio Carreras each batting in two runs. Going into the top of the ninth with the Isotopes leading 5-2, there was a feeling in the stadium that the Isotopes would walk away from this one victorious. Fans were on their feet as pitcher Jaden Hill came into the game to close things out in the top of the ninth. Hill made it look easy out there, as he got Salt Lake off the plate and into their locker room, since he was able to close out the game.
