STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Port Richmond Library has reopened after a major renovation as part of the New York Public Library’s Carnegie Renovation Program.

An official ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Thursday to celebrate the occasion, attended by library staff and Staten Island community leaders who explored the newly-renovated building. The event featured a storytime for kids and families, as well as a paint-and-sip (coffee) class.

The New York Public Library invites visitors to their local branch for access to books, Wi-Fi, computers, classes, and a variety of engaging programs for all ages.
