STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Port Richmond Library has reopened after a major renovation as part of the New York Public Library’s Carnegie Renovation Program. An official ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Thursday to celebrate the occasion, attended by library staff and Staten Island community leaders who explored the newly-renovated building. The event featured a storytime for kids and families, as well as a paint-and-sip (coffee) class. The New York Public Library invites visitors to their local branch for access to books, Wi-Fi, computers, classes, and a variety of engaging programs for all ages. Monday 11 a.m.–6 p.m. Tuesday 11 a.m.–6 p.m. Wednesday 11 a.m.–6 p.m. Thursday 11 a.m.–6 p.m. Friday 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Saturday 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
