Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office was called to the 2000 block of College Circle S. in the Durkeeville area after a passerby noticed an unresponsive woman lying on the sidewalk. Officers arrived to find a female 30 to 35 years old facedown on the sidewalk in a pool of blood, a JSO news release states.

Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department was called to the scene and pronounced her dead. Police said she appeared to have trauma to her head. The name of the victim or manner of death was not released.
