HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) - JMU baseball head coach Marlin Ikenberry announced the program’s 2025 schedule Friday, after the team had a postseason run to the Raleigh Regional last season.

The Dukes begin their season at Men’s College World Series semifinalist Florida State on Feb. 14-16, followed by an eight-game streak at home against Radford, Canisius, Virginia Tech and Fairfield.

“The combination of non-conference and conference games for this schedule mimics last year’s that had the fifth strongest non-conference schedule and 37th overall,” Ikenberry said. “This is a challenging schedule that will prepare us for Sun Belt play and allow us to compete against some of the best programs in the country.”

JMU’s schedule will also take the Dukes to play Virginia Tech and Radford on their home turf, plus home-and-home games against Maryland and George Mason and facing off against other teams around the commonwealth, including Richmond, Longwood and Virginia.

The Dukes will also hit the road to conclude its non-conference schedule against Charlotte March 7-9.

Sun Belt rivalries will include hosting ULM, Georgia State, Troy, Coastal Carolina and Old Dominion in Harrisonburg, while James Madison travels to Marshall, Louisiana, App State and Georgia Southern before ending its season at Texas State.

The top 10 teams in the conference will make their way to Troy University in Montgomery, Alabama, on May 20-25 for the 2024 Guardian Credit Union Sun Belt Conference Baseball Championship.
