Two wins for the best team during the regular season gives them a stranglehold in their best-of-seven series, but the underdogs will look to turn things around at home as the St. Louis Blues get set to host the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night. The Blues did an excellent job of playing tough against the Jets in the first two games of the series. However, the Jets managed to get one (or in Game 1’s case, two) more goal than St. Louis in the first two games in Manitoba. After seemingly getting to Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck in the series opener, the Blues struggled to beat the odds-on favorite to win the Vezina Trophy winner, as the Jets used a third-period goal from Kyle Connor to power the home side to a 2-1 win.
