Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens is still glowing after a big night out with his wife, Olympic legend Simone Biles.

Owens called the experience “ICONIC” in a heartfelt Instagram post after the couple walked the red carpet together at the 2025 Met Gala.

Owens shared several photos of himself and Biles dressed to the nines at the glamorous event held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

“Blessed to be able to celebrate Black excellence and style in a room full of so many amazing people. A night I’ll never forget,” Owens wrote.

It was a busy few days for the couple, who also celebrated their second wedding anniversary.

Owens wished Biles a happy anniversary on her Instagram post from the 151st Kentucky Derby.

“Happy Anniversary, baby,” he commented under their Derby photo.

The Met Gala was especially meaningful for Biles. She helped plan the event as part of the host committee. As one of the most decorated athletes in the world, with 7 Olympic medals and 30 World Championship medals, Biles knows how to handle pressure. But she admitted the Met Gala brought a different kind of stress.

“The Met Gala – only because I trained for the Olympics my whole life and this is just a one-day event,” Biles explained during an interview at the event, per NBC News .

Despite the nerves, the couple seemed relaxed. Before heading to the red carpet, Biles posted a behind-the-scenes photo of Owens kissing her on the cheek as she got ready. She wore a white robe and smiled, showing the sweet moment between the two.

The Met Gala was Owens’ first appearance at fashion’s biggest night, but he looked confident beside his wife. Their coordinated outfits and close bond made them a standout couple at the event.

With the 2025 NFL season on the horizon, Owens will soon be back in full football mode. But for now, he’s holding onto the memories of one unforgettable night with the love of his life.
