JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Jackson State football’s highly-anticipated matchup against Florida A&M has been elevated to air on ESPNU.

With this pickup, all 12 JSU football games this season will have earned a national television spotlight for the second year running under head coach TC Taylor.

The Tigers will have a bye week this week and are currently undefeated in SWAC play, dominating Texas Southern and beating Alabama A&M away from home.

Jackson State’s game against the Rattlers is scheduled for Oct. 19 at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium and will kick off at 2:30 p.m. on ESPNU.

The two teams are currently atop the SWAC east division standings.
