And so, once again locals were fooled by FAKE SPRING and suffer another winter blast overnight and into the morning.

Overnight we're hearing about a slew of power outages, a JoCo house fire, intense winds and sketchy streets . . . And so this post is really just a quick message to remind local commuters, early birds and coffee junkies to be careful this morning.

"A Blizzard Warning is in effect for the Kansas City metro and locations north through 6 am. Through this time, travel will be very hazardous due to very poor visibility and deteriorating roads. While snow accumulations are not expected to be overly high (1-3″ for Kansas City, up to 1″ to the east), blizzards are defined by visibility and winds... not snow amounts. Areas south and east of Kansas City are under a Winter Weather Advisory through 6 am to the south and noon to the east."
