The Kansas City Chiefs selected star wide receiver Rashee Rice with the No. 55 pick in the second round of the 2023 NFL draft. A former Southern Methodist University Mustang, Rice made an immediate impact as a key difference-maker for Kansas City's offense as a rookie, but saw his sophomore season with the Chiefs derailed by a serious knee injury. Despite his absence in 2024, Rice is expected to be the No. 1 wide receiver on Kansas City's depth chart next season, though it remains to be seen if he will regain his speed and agility after months of rehab and physical therapy.
