The Kansas City Chiefs held their one-day equipment sale last weekend with diehard fans ready to get their hands on their worn gear.

Chiefs super fan Haley Marks proudly drove 14 hours from Pensacola, Florida, to attend the team’s sale. She missed out on it last year and was determined to be a part of the event this time.

“I drove 14 hours from Pensacola, Florida, and I went through seven states, I think, to get here,” said Marks to KMBC News . “Took off work and here I am.”

The Chiefs Pro Shop hosted the sale, featuring many clothing items previously worn or used by players and staff. Items ranged from football cleats and shoes to hoodies, practice jerseys, and signed footballs.

“I got some good gifts for people back home, and yeah, I’m excited,” said Marks. Chiefs players and staff wore or used most of the acquired items, so they have sentimental value for dedicated fans. The 14-hour drive was worth the travel to continue supporting your favorite team during a unique dynasty of winning.
