During a recent interview with the ' New Rory and Mal' podcast, Former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney expressed his appreciation for head coach Andy Reid and his immediacy in implementing him into the playbook.

"He (Andy Reid) implemented all he's going back to watching Florida film," said Toney, "Oh, yeah, I like how he did this motion right here. That's kind of where the motion comes in at in the Super Bowl. That's where that comes in. He liked the way I did the one against Tennessee (Volunteers). In my senior year, he said we could do something like this, but without you doing that, we gonna bring you back because the way they defense scheme. He was a real guru. I love Coach Reid. Man, I swear that's my favorite person right now."

Toney battled injuries from training camp in 2024, contributing to his eventual release. In his last season with the Chiefs, in 2023, he tallied 169 yards and a touchdown on 27 receptions.
