The Kansas City Chiefs will officially play again on Christmas Day for the third consecutive season. Arrowhead Stadium will host the AFC West division battle against the rival Denver Broncos on Prime Video.

According to a post from ESPN's Adam Schefter , Mahomes and company will host Denver and continue being the league's unofficial Christmas Day team. Rumors spread weeks ago that Kansas City wouldn't be considered for the game annually, but it appears the NFL wants to continue showcasing its current dynasty.

"You don't even realize how close you are to Christmas other than when you go home and there are presents under the tree," said Mahomes before last year's Christmas victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. "So, we're all hands on deck, super focused on Pittsburgh, and understanding how great a challenge it will be. Then, get on the flight and fly in there. So I feel like a regular game, and hopefully, you can go out there and get a win. You can come home and have a few extra days to celebrate Christmas with the family if that's going home or in Kansas City."

Bo Nix and the Broncos took Kansas City to the limit last season at Arrowhead Stadium, which could be the enticing matchup the NFL wants to showcase.
