KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Dozens of former federal workers woke up Friday morning in Kansas City with uncertain futures. Cuts from the IRS and other agencies are impacting hundreds of people. More cuts and layoffs are expected, according to President Trump’s federal spending reduction. As former federal workers contemplate the next chapter in their careers, Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas is asking for their help. “Kansas City is proud to have thousands of outstanding federal workers here.
