Jac Caglianone is a physical specimen. The soon-to-be first baseman and/or outfielder for the Kansas City Royals has yet to make his MLB debut but the 22-year-old already looks every bit the part.

His massive legs went viral prior to his AAA debut at home!

Caglianone, a two-time All-American at Florida, was drafted into the MLB with the No. 6 overall pick in 2024 and received a $7.21 million signing bonus. Although he also pitched in college, Kansas City chose not to use him on the mound and focused only on his bat. It proved to be the right call.

He tore through High-A ball as a rookie. Double-A was just as easy. Jac Caglianone recorded a single on April 10 that was the 12-hardest hit ball ever recorded during the Statcast era at 120-121 mph. Casual.

His metrics are insane.

The home run with no official distance recorded broke the Statcast. It went very far.

Caglianone now has 67 RBIs with 16 home runs in just 45 games on two different levels this season. The Royals might want to call him up sooner than later. Why wait?

The ridiculous power stems from Jac Caglianone’s massive frame. MLB lists him at 6-foot-5, 250 pounds but I would guess he is actually closer to 255 by looking at him. He makes his AAA teammates — most of whom are much older — look minuscule during warmups.

I am in awe of the size of this lad.

Calianone’s home debut with Omaha was less than ideal but even his ground outs and fly outs are mashed.

And he can play defense too!

I am not entirely sure why the Royals are so slow to move Jac Caglianone up the ranks but he is going to force their hand. His monster frame already looks like a big leaguer and all he does is hit! Kansas City would be silly not to call him up for its playoff push.
