Back in 2008 . . . None other than the New York Times once reported that Kansas City weather forecasts are worse than most.
Thankfully . . . Since that time tech has improved and local weather newises are SO MUCH BETTER at telling us when to "take cover" or stay at home and watch more news. Today . . . Weather newsies have been predicting overnight doom but might or MIGHT NOT have told us that hail would be moving in this afternoon for some areas of the metro.
To be fair . . . Panicked interruptions of TV programming don't matter as much amid this era of digital streaming tech.
