(WYMT) - College basketball is less than one month away from tipping-off and the Associated Press announced the top 25 men’s basketball teams heading into the season.

Following an offseason that saw a change in coach and a brand new roster, the Kentucky Wildcats enter the season ranked #23.

This is the lowest preseason ranking for the team since the 2008–2009 season, when the team was unranked.

The back-to-back national champion UConn Huskies enter the season ranked #3.
