LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) - Less than a week from the 2024 season finale, the Cats have now lost their top two receivers to the transfer portal.

Lexington native & UK standout Dane Key announced via social media on Wednesday, Dec. 4 that he will enter the transfer portal.

Barion Brown announced via social media on Thursday, Dec. 5 that he will enter the transfer portal.

Brown led UK in receiving in 2022 and was the second-leading receiver in 2023 and 2024.

He also broke the SEC record for most kickoff return touchdowns with five.
