TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) is warning others not to click on the newest scam you may have seen on your phone.

Fraudulent texts are on the rise and a new scam is claiming to sell discounted shirts in support of KHP. The patrol says that this text is not affiliated with or connected to it. KHP stated in a social media post that this is a smashing attempt to gain access to personal information.
