On Saturday, October 12, bring your whole family to this not-to-be-missed fall festival!
For the 35th year in a row, Irvine Nature Center is hosting its annual PumpkinFest. This all-day event includes crafts, food trucks, games, and hayrides, as well as live animal encounters, pumpkin painting, scavenger hunts, and more.

PRICE: $5 for adults | $15 per child | Children under 2 are FREE (unless participating in crafts and pony rides)

In the past, this event has been sold out, so be sure to get your tickets soon! You can purchase them in advance here. If you're an Irvine Nature Center member, you'll have exclusive access to their preview party from 11 a.m. to noon, the day of.
"Located just northwest of Baltimore, Irvine Nature Center is a leading environmental education center with 90,000 visitors a year," according to their website. Their "green building and 210 acres of forests, meadows, and wetlands are perfect for students, families, and nature-lovers."

If you can't make the event, but still want to check this neat nature center out, you can visit them FREE of charge, seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m, year-round. They only require a small fee if you have a group of 10 or more, to help preserve their grounds and facilities.
