This week’s Kinetic Credit Union Golden Apple Award Winner is chorus director Joshua Butler from Kendrick High School.

A Columbus State University graduate, Butler is in his third year of teaching. Butler enjoys being a mentor, inspiring his students, and mutually joking with them. He strives to create a safe, family environment for his students.

His nominator wrote, “I’ve seen how Mr. Butter loves, cares and respects his students and really tries to get them prepared for their future. He teaches the fundamentals of music and music theory. I’ve seen him be a great example for his students, his co-workers and their families.”
