It will certainly be a day for celebrating the magic of the kite!
In a delightful display of whimsy, hundreds of kites will take flight on Sunday, May 21, at the 10th annual Kites in the Park Festival at Spring Canyon Park. Nearly 8,000 people are expected to participate in the full-day event, which will feature kite ballet performances, rokkaku battles, and giant kites from fliers around the world.
Parking is limited, so attendees are encouraged to come by foot or bicycle, or make use of the free shuttle service from Hughes Stadium. The festival runs between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., on Sunday, May 21, at Spring Canyon Park in Fort Collins. Admission is free, but the experience is priceless.
