Hurry! The free dozen is only available for one day!

Graduation season is in full swing and Krispy Kreme is helping those well-deserving graduates celebrate. Now through May 16, Krispy Kreme locations around the U.S. will be selling a special graduates dozen that features several flavors emblazoned with "2021."

If you are a graduating senior, head to the nearest Krispy Kreme on Thursday, May 13, wearing your graduation gear and you will get the special graduation dozen for free. Friends and family can buy a dozen to celebrate and get it gift-wrapped for $2.99.

Last year, most of the graduation ceremonies were scrapped due to the coronavirus pandemic. Thankfully, due to vaccines and dropping case rates, graduates will get to walk across the stage in front of their friends and families. Krispy Kreme created this special-edition dozen to help you celebrate in a sweet way.

“It’s been a tough year for this year's graduates, marked by virtual learning, canceled sports, limited school activities, altered or eliminated proms and non-traditional graduation ceremonies. But the class of 2021 persevered through it all,” said Dave Skena, Chief Marketing Officer for Krispy Kreme. “We admire them, we’re proud of them and we want to celebrate all of them by giving them a special Graduate Dozen completely free at their local Krispy Kreme.”

The graduation dozen has five different varieties, the original glazed, chocolate iced creme-filled, strawberry iced creme-filled, cake batter-filled, and yellow iced original glazed. The free dozen is only available on May 13, but the graduate dozen will stick around until Sunday, May 16.

Krispy Kreme is also rewarding people who get vaccinated with the COVID vaccine. Offered through the end of 2021, all you've gotta do is bring your vaccination card to a participating Krispy Kreme store and you’ll get a free original glazed doughnut. The donut chain has also launched a rewards app where you can earn free doughnuts and get access to special offers.
