The deal will run through the end of 2021.

Krispy Kreme is showing its customers that a spoonful of sugar really does help the medicine go down. From now until the end of the year, the iconic donut shop is rewarding all of its vaccinated customers with a free donut. All you have to do is come into your local Krispy Kreme and show your vaccination card to prove that you've completed both doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. A vaccination sticker is not valid for the deal.

“We all want to get COVID-19 behind us as fast as possible and we want to support everyone doing their part to make the country safe by getting vaccinated as soon as the vaccine is available to them,” said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme Chief Marketing Officer.

To show its complete support, Krispy Kreme announced it will be delivering free donuts to vaccination centers across the nation within the upcoming weeks. The company is also offering up to four hours of paid time off to each of its employees in order to encourage them to receive their COVID-19 vaccinations. This has become part of Krispy Kreme's plan to provide a safe and healthy environment for all of its customers.

America's favorite donut shop is also launching a promotion called "Be Sweets Weekends." As part of this campaign, guests who buy a dozen donuts will be eligible for another dozen for $1. This extra set of donuts is meant to be shared safely with your friends, neighbors, and coworkers. You can even opt for the smiley-face donuts, which the company will make available for nine weekends between March 27 and May 23.
