Outlook: The Dutchmen are dreaming big. They want a District Three Class 3A championship and a state playoff run. The 1-2 pitching combination of Morcom and Shaffer will give Annville-Cleona a shot. Getty controls the game behind the plate and three-sport athlete Keller brings speed to the bases. “We’re trying to get out of here with a district championship,” Getty said. “We’ve made it to districts and we fell short. This year we’re looking for a good season.” Columbia's Cameron McClair, left, Drew Paules and Cooper Marley during the Lancaster-Lebanon League baseball media day at the LNP | LancasterOnline offices on Sunday March 9, 2025. The challenge will be having several district title contenders on the schedule. “It looks like we’re gonna have a promising season,” McClair said. “The team is getting along very well. We’ve been working hard and we’re ready to get at it at this point.” Lancaster Catholic's Drew Walker, left, Zach Zuber, Ty George and Dylan Banzhof during the Lancaster-Lebanon League baseball media day at the LNP | LancasterOnline offices on Sunday March 9, 2025. Catholic is tired of hearing about last season and wants to write a different script. One we’ve seen before. “It’s been a hot topic,” Walker said of the end of Catholic’s reign. “Understandably. That’s the main goal for us. To take the section back. Northern Lebanon returns an all-league pick in Gonzalez and section all-stars Via, Stoltz and Shoemaker. The goal is to take the District Three Class 4A title. “I want to do everything we did last year,” Gonzalez said, “except win more games in the playoffs.” Pequea Valley's Logan Zynn, left, Stephen Smucker and Trevor Vollmer during the Lancaster-Lebanon League baseball media day at the LNP | LancasterOnline offices on Sunday March 9, 2025. Logan Zynn knows where he expects Pequea Valley to finish. “First, easily,” Zynn said. “I’m not trying to put anybody else down. They’re all good players and good teams. But I think we’re gonna come out on top.” No information provided.
