(WVUE) - Lana Del Rey has addressed rumors about her alleged relationship with Louisiana swamp tour guide Jeremy Dufrene, directly responding to speculation on social media.

In a comment on an Instagram post by celebrity news account The Just In Life, Del Rey simply said, “No,” refuting claims that Dufrene is her “new man.”

The singer further clarified the situation in a follow-up comment, saying, “Also, that’s not his daughter on Twitter,” dismissing an earlier claim by a user on X (formerly Twitter) who had identified herself as Dufrene’s daughter and commented on the rumored relationship.

Despite the brief nature of Del Rey’s comments, many outlets and fans have taken her responses as a denial of both the relationship and the family connection. The rumors initially surfaced after photos of Del Rey and Dufrene in London spread online.

The pair were seen together before Del Rey’s performance at the Reading & Leeds Festival, and pictures of them posted by Daily Mail, a British tabloid , which fueled the speculation.

Dufrene, a 49-year-old boat captain in Louisiana, previously met Del Rey during a swamp tour in 2019, where the singer posted photos of their time together.

However, Del Rey has now publicly addressed the rumors of a romantic relationship, ending the speculation.
