Many users are demanding that the company that hosts the event, Sack Lunch Productions, return their money and just cancel the event altogether at this point. Others are questioning whether tickets purchased for the cancelled November and April events will be honored in September, and where they plan to hold the new event. Complaints have been filed with the Better Business Bureau, who rates Sack Lunch Productions at an "F." The Better Business Bureau also reports that 13 complaints have been filed against the company, 12 of which they have failed to respond to. Facebook followers are also reporting that no email notifying them of the date change was sent, and that their emails with questions and concerns are not being answered.
While tickets are not currently on sale pending a new venue, Facebook users report that they paid between $25 and $35 for adult tickets and $7 for children's tickets. These prices are consistent with other events listed on their website, though the new September event is not listed. Did you have tickets for The Lantern Fest? Are you still planning on going?
