ALEXANDRIA — The Glenwood-Lowry baseball team finished 2-2 at the Cliff Alveshere American legion Tournament at Knute Nelson Memorial Field.

Posts 187/253 capped off the tournament with a 2-1 loss to host Alexandria on Sunday. On Saturday, Glenwood-Lowry beat Watertown, South Dakota 13-8 and lost 8-0 to Champlin Park. They began the tournament Friday with a 10-7 victory against Perham.

Alex Panitzke and Dylan Alexander were both 1-for-2 for Posts 187/253 against Alexandria. Nathan Dell went 1-for-3 with an RBI and Connor Erickson was 1-for-3 with a run scored.

Alexandria pitcher Griffin Wimmer struck out 10 over six innings to secure the win. Connor Anderson went 2-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI in the victory.

Glenwood-Lowry is back on the road to play Sauk Centre at 6 p.m. Monday.
