First Alert Chief Meteorologist Matt Beckwith has issued an all clear for severe weather in the KOMU 8 viewing area.
9:51 p.m.: Counties report more power outages
Power outages in Benton County have climbed to 5,200, according to
PowerOutage.us . Pettis County is still reporting over 800 outages and Cooper County has nearly reached 500 outages. Laclede County has more than 750 outages and a majority of outages in Missouri are coming from the west of Missouri.
8:53 p.m.: Power outages on the rise
The number of power outages in Benton County has reached nearly 5,000, and outage reports are coming in from several counties on the western edge of mid-Missouri. Over 800 outages were reported in Pettis County, 500 in Morgan County and over 200 in Cooper County, according to
