COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, accessibility mornings will return to the state museum this Saturday, June 14, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Visitors with disabilities will have a chance to enjoy a quieter, sensory-friendly environment.

The state museum will also stay open late on select Fridays throughout the summer.

You can explore the exhibits and watch films featuring costumes from the Disney Heroes and Villains Costume exhibit.

You can still donate to the City of Columbia’s ‘On the Right Foot’ clothing drive for students in Richland School Districts One and Two.

The goal is to provide 400 students with essential clothes, shoes, and personal care items before school starts.

Donations will be accepted now through August 2nd.

Bank of America is teeing up affordable rounds of golf for young players here in the Midlands as part of the company’s ‘Golf with Us’ program.

For $5 or less per round, kids ages 6 to 18 can tee off at local courses, and get a registered handicap with the U.S. Golf Association.

Parents can sign up their kids from now through Sunday, June 15.

There will be several events planned in the Midlands to celebrate Pride Month including Outfest.

Organizers say the event promotes a more inclusive and safer world for people in the LGBTQ+ community.

This year’s event takes place on Park Street in the Vista this Saturday, June 14, from noon until nine in the evening.
