Yes, winter is still here, but not for much longer. Time is running out. Soon it will be spring and then, I know, don't say it — summer. Here are five ways to get out and enjoy this last gasp of not-summer. Additionally, this weekend has the distinction of priming us for St. Patrick's Day, so we'll top this regular list with a nod to those events.

In addition to the top five events listed there's always something great happening at places like The Norton Museum of Art or the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. On top of that you could always just enjoy a great meal with an equally great view at one of Palm Beach County's waterfront restaurants from Jupiter to Boca Raton. St. Patrick's Day in Palm Beach County 2025



Palm Beach Shores St. Patrick's Day Parade: Saturday March 15; 11 a.m. beginning at the Community Center at the end of Edwards Lane. Following the parade there will be a family-style barbecue at the center.

1. Full Moon Silent Disco



Groove in ways you've never grooved at this dance party known as the Be You Disco. Feel the flow while you bask in the glow of our magical friend the moon. Get down with yourself, meet new people and have the time of your life. 18 and older.

2. Screen on the Green featuring "Encanto,"



Featuring the voices of Stephanie Beatriz, Wilmer Valderrama, Diane Guerrero and Alan Tudyk, this animated feature follows the Madrigals, a family who live in the mountains of Colombia in a place called the Encanto. The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift — every child except Mirabel. However, she soon learns that she may have the greatest gift of all.

3. Intro to Mermaid Experience at Hilton West Palm Beach



Find your inner Ariel and learn to swim like a mermaid! Led by world famous PADI mermaid instructor Vero Beach Mermaid, Brandee Anthony, students will learn the art of swimming with a mermaid tail and monofin. Please wear a swimsuit that is comfortable for active movements.

4. Art After Dark at Norton Museum of Art



Enjoy a docent-led tour on the exhibit Sorolla and the Sea, join a teaching artist for a fun project or have an absolute blast with the Celtic rock band Bangers & Mash. Whether cranking out originals or completely skewering a classic, this band will have you dancing, raising a pint and having a ball.

5. District Fit at CityPlace, Hilton West Palm Beach



West Palm Beach's largest fitness and wellness festival, this one-day event will feature over 15 expert instructors from leading studios like Equinox, MVMNT WPB, 1401 Athletics, CrossFit Squad, Pound Fitness, Be You Disco and more. Participants can attend yoga classes, running events, pilates, fitness classes and self defense as well as recovery stations.
