COLFAX, La. (KALB) - The Colfax Police Department detailed specific safety regulations and rules they will enforce during the annual Pecan Festival on November 1-3.

“We want everyone to have a great time at the Pecan Festival, but safety is our top priority,” said Colfax Police Chief Edward Butler Jr. “Please be respectful of the rules and help us keep this event safe and enjoyable for all.”

The release stated that Chief Butler and the Colfax Police Department have committed to maintaining a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for those attending to Pecan Festival. They advised attendees to follow the guidelines, exercise caution and to report suspicious activity to CPD immediately.
