A man was found dead following a house fire in St. Louis Park on Tuesday evening.

Police and fire responders were called to the home on the 7400 block of North Street just before midnight, and found the man's body inside the property.

"While nothing immediately appeared suspicious about the death, the Hennepin County Crime Lab and State Fire Marshal were called to assist, along with the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office, who will determine cause of death," the St. Louis Park Police Department said.

The investigation is ongoing into the cause of the fire.
