NATCHEZ — Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said a man wanted for home repair fraud in Natchez has been captured in Abilene, Kansas, and will be extradited back to the city.

William Gillespie Bryan IV, 22, is a suspect in at least four counts of home repair fraud. ACSO Investigator Ruston Cavin said the fraud totaled approximately $25,000 and was committed under the business name of Willy’s Heating and Cooling. Cavin said Bryan allegedly scammed both individuals and businesses in the area.

Patten is asking anyone who was scammed or defrauded by Bryan to come forward.

“While we have the opportunity, we would like anyone whom this man has allegedly scammed to come forward and talk to us or file a complaint,” he said. “We would like to build as complete a case as possible.”

Patten said he is arranging for Bryan to be returned to Natchez as soon as possible.
