KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Parts of the Kansas City metro are covered in freezing drizzle and mist Wednesday morning and are impacting road conditions.

At some points early Wednesday morning, a dozen different areas of highways were closed throughout the metro. The road conditions could double your morning commute.

The Kansas City Fire Department posted on Facebook advising people to stay home if possible and to slow down if you must drive.
