A married Illinois special education teacher accused of raping a 15-year-old student allegedly kept a “memoir” in her phone’s notes app in which she accused the teen of cheating on her, according to court documents.

Christina Formella, a 30-year-old teacher at Downer Grove High School, wrote in a lengthy note that she was upset that the “disgusting” student “cheated on me” when their relationship ended, according to a petition to deny her pre-trial release obtained by People .

“We will never ever be together again,” Formella groaned in the note, according to the document.

“I’m not a second choice. I’m the best thing you’ll ever have even with all of my mistakes.”

In a section titled “Manifestations,” she allegedly typed that she hoped the teen would reach out to her soon to “try to fix things between us.”

She continued, “In the meantime, I’m going to live my best life knowing he’s not the person I thought he was and that he is beneath me,” prosecutors alleged.

When pressed by police about the note, Formella claimed it’s how she lets out her anxiety — and that any sexual content referred to her husband.

Formella, who was also the boy’s soccer coach, began exchanging flirtatious messages with him which quickly escalated to a sexual encounter in December 2023, DuPage County prosecutors allege.

During a before-school tutoring session in a classroom, the then-28-year-old teacher allegedly slammed the door and the pair had sex , according to court documents.

“I love having sex with you,” she wrote the teen in messages reportedly sent in 2023, court documents show.

That was the only time the two had a sexual encounter — with both later acknowledging that they’d done something wrong.

The victim allegedly ended the relationship and they didn’t speak after February 2024, prosecutors said.

That was just months before Formella tied the knot with her husband last summer.

The teacher was arrested on March 16 , just days after the boy’s mother discovered racy texts on her son’s phone.

Formella was charged with two counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault and was released on the condition that she not enter school grounds or have contact with anybody under 18.
